Understanding
Meditation

| Meditation is a very ancient technique used to provide
insight into one’s self, situations and to become one with all that
surrounds us. There are different terms used in defining mediation – as
– there are different types of meditations. When one repeats a “mantra”
which is a word or phrase, one is focusing on the intent behind the
mantra – not the words themselves. For instance, if one uses the word
‘love’ to chant repeatedly for 5 minutes, do not concentrate on the
word. Concentrate on the concept of love. |

| Meditation may
be used as a healing tool. In this way, a person may sit comfortable
and listen to a self-guided meditation. Healing may occur on all levels
of the person's being – etheric, spiritual, physical, mental or
