Pachamama
Pachamama, LLC, opened on
December 4th, 1998 - the anniversary of the owner's Mother's Birthday.
Pachamama was created with one core mission in mind - to offer
spirituality and healing to all. Pachamama offers a spiritually diverse
amount of resources to assist all walks of life in their spiritual
journeys. Pachamama means Mother Earth - Mother Time - Mother Universe
- The ALL Encompassing. It comes from the Quechua language, which is a
language in South America. The store was inspired by two shamans whom
the owner has had the opportunity to work and study with: Ipupiara,
from the Ire-we-wa-wa tribe in Brazil, and Cleicha, from the Quecha
tribe in Peru. Both visit the shop on occasion.
